Managing the Surplus Framework Agreement (MTSF)

An updated version after the introduction of MTSF2, this agreement deals with issues such as Voluntary redundancy and excess travel terms where there is a surplus.  Renegotiated around the edges, it introduced the concept of TMA (n.b. For Arthur.C. Clark fans, That’s not an Alien Monolith, it’s Termination by Mutual Agreement).

This agreement deals with the delicate issue of members on long term sick leave, as well as the terms that may be offered if a member is not capable of returning to work.  When using the Ill Health Procedures Agreement, please also reference the addendum, which was agreed in 2003.
